Did carry me against a Murloc Shaman though. Not a terrible card if the whole meta becomes Pirate Warrior or Paladin. Against board flood decks, I'd rather summon hounds and go face. Dead in slow matchups and the mirror until you can powershot your own 1/1 for quest progression. Powershot - I personally don't like it, had it in originally. If you don't want to craft him, running anything else is fine, probably Voracious Reader.

He's a huge mana cheat (your hero power can be refreshable 7 mana earlier compared to finishing the 3rd quest and playing Tavish) and can close the game out really early.
