Mystery Winner - Worse version of Secret Plan, the body is often irrelevant. Impatient Shopkeep - Same as Viper, there was a really popular list running this as a 1-of but I'd still rather have hounds. Rustrot Viper - Meta call, great against warlock's rune rod obviously, is also a beast for KC, but I was recycling it way more than I was ever using it to kill weapons, and this deck rarely wants a spider tank with beast tag. Did carry me against a Murloc Shaman though. Not a terrible card if the whole meta becomes Pirate Warrior or Paladin. Against board flood decks, I'd rather summon hounds and go face. Dead in slow matchups and the mirror until you can powershot your own 1/1 for quest progression. Powershot - I personally don't like it, had it in originally. If you don't want to craft him, running anything else is fine, probably Voracious Reader.
HSREPLAY SECRET FUNTER FREE
Against slower decks he's great because you will always want the 2 spells he draws vs the random draw of something like Coldlight, and if your hero power is already free then he's not as huge of a tempo loss because you can still ping something when you play him. Usually you should be sending these all face unless something is a must-kill.īarak Kodobane - I initially only ran him because I unpacked him and thought why not. Unleash the Hounds x 2 - Great for swinging the board back against Pirate Warrior, another KC activator, insane with Overwhelm, and often a large amount of burst after a warlock goes wide. He's a huge mana cheat (your hero power can be refreshable 7 mana earlier compared to finishing the 3rd quest and playing Tavish) and can close the game out really early. It counts as 2 spells for your Raza hero power, and Explosive, Dart, and Snipe can progress your quest.Īuctionmaster Beardo - Personally I consider Beardo to be core, but there are some people that don't use him. Secret Plan x 2 - Secrets are good, it gives the deck some mindgame potential, and since it has no real defensive capabilities, stuff like Explosive Trap or Wandering Monster can be really good. The remaining 6 cards I had in my final version were: Kill Command x 2 - Weaker than Aimed Shot since you need a beast, but still worth running Toxic Reinforcements x 2 - Incredible card, I will hard mulligan for this in most matchups other than maybe Rapid Fire, and playing this on t1 is better than the quest most of the time.Īimed Shot x 2 - Huge damage, not much to say Also great the turn you play Tavish to kill their quest reward if they got it down first. Hunter's Mark x 2 - Spell, allows you to kill early Darkglare, giants, really and 4-5hp minion is usually worth it. It's really that simple.įlare x 2 - Is a spell, cycles, good against mage, good against the mirror since most hunters play at least 1 secret generator.

Here is a list of 24 cards most people would consider core:Īrcane Shot x 2 - Any 1 mana spell that deals damage is core. As you can see, very good vs Warlocks and Warriors, which are most of the meta besides this deck. Here's my stats with the deck from Gold (or Plat, can't remember) to legend. Hopefully this inspires more people to play the deck, which will make life harder for seedlock players :^) I know the deck isn't very hard to play, but I just figured I'd throw my 2 cents in about some tips. I've been legend a bunch of times but this was the first deck I thought was fun enough to write a guide for. Hello, just hit legend with Odd QL Hunter and felt like making a short guide for it.
